HTC's new announcement, HTC One is one of their finest devices. At first look, it looks like the most perfectly built device. Elegant design with rounded corners, finely blended buttons, earpiece and speaker phone.
DISPLAY
The display is as crisp as it can get with a stunning resolution of 1080x1920 pixels with a 4.7 inches size which results in a massive pixel density of ~469 ppi. It supports multitouch and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 2.
SOUND
Instead of the usual backfacing speakers, the phone sports a two front facing speakers to provide supreme audio experience to the user. With beats audio processing, the audio is more enhanced.
CAMERA
The camera is a 4 MP autofocus with LED flash which may disappoint you in resolution department but HTC with their Ultrapixel technology claim better low light photography as compared to competitors. (NOKIA are you listening)
The front facing camera is a 2.1 MP which is quite satisfactory.
HARDWARE
Talking about the most important aspect of a smartphone,ie,its performance, the smartphone has a 1.7 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 600 processor with 2GB of RAM to deliver smooth and lag free performance.
SOFTWARE
The smartphone runs HTC 4.1.2 which is a version behind 4.2 but the HTC sense 5 UI offers smooth interface and eye candy for a good smartphone experience.
BATTERY LIFE
Battery is a 2,300 mAh which supports an entire day of moderate usage including some push mail, google+, twitter and facebook usage.
Overall the device is a masterpiece of HTC craftsmanship with supreme design, stunning display, satisfactory camera, good quality audio and some nice innovations like Ultrapixel and front facing speakers. Samsung Galaxy S4 has got some nice competition.
